High School: Competed in cross country, wrestling, and track & field, earning 11 letters (3 XC, 4 wrestling, 4 track). Served as team captain as a senior in both wrestling and track. Was a second team all-league selection in cross country as a senior, qualifying for districts while helping team to first state appearance in six years.

Personal: Born on April 19, 1999 to parents Dawn and Scott. Is a brother to Emily. Chose PLU because "the smaller campus size seemed like it was right for me along with great recommendations from students." Hobbies include playing the saxophone, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.
