Biography

2016: Competed in five races for the Lutes. His best time came at the 42nd Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational where he ran a 30:39.1 in the 8k. 

High School: Two-year letterwinner, serving as team captain for one season. Helped the Hawks win seventh consecutive state title and place seventh at nationals. Named Most improved as a sophomore. 

Personal: Born Feb. 8, 1997 to parents Kari and Darin. Is a brother to Marias. Chose PLU because it's a great community and school. Does volunteer work with Food Bank, BridgerCare Health Clinic, Bozeman Trails Conservation, and Bozeman Parks Service Santa Calls. Was a National Merit Scholar, Presidential Merit Scholar Nominee, and AP Scholar with Distinction. Spent a year coaching cross country and track in Saudi Arabia before enrolling at PLU.
