Biography
2023: Competed in five races for the Lutes. Finished 28th at the NWC Championships and 60th in the NCAA West Region Championships.
2022: Competed in six races for the Lutes. Finished 42nd at the NWC Championships and 64th in the NCAA West Region Championships.
2021: Competed in six races for the Lutes. Finished 26th in the NWC Championships and 81st in the NCAA West Region Championships.
2019: Competed in two races for the Lutes. Ran a season-best 27:58n in the 8K at the PLU Invitational.
High School: Was a three sport athlete in high school running, cross country, track and field, and playing basketball as well. He was a two year captain and a two year MVP in his sports. He ran the 1600 and 3200 and was a power forward in basketball. His senior year he was 2nd at districts and a state qualifier in cross country.
Major: Kinesiology with the intent of becoming an exercise physiologist. Chose PLU because of the, “Great distance running program, great Kinesiology Program, and close to home”
Personal: Parents are Daina and Arnie. Has one sibling: Krisjanis.
Hobbies: Traveling, Backpacking, Cooking, Exploring Music and Movies
