Kent Van Alstyne joined the PLU tennis staff as an assistant in 2016.
Van Alstyne has considerable experience, serving as a tennis pro at the Lakewood Racquet Club since 2015. Van Alstyne was an assistant coach for the Charles Wright Academy boys and girls tennis teams during 2015-2016.
Van Alstyne additionally has served as a tennis pro at Salem Courthouse Tennis Club in Salem, Oregon (2012-2014) and Mill Creek Tennis Club in Mill Creek, Washington (2009-2012). He additionally served as a tennis instructor at the University of Washington (2008-2009).
Van Alstyne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in 2012 and earned a JD from Lewis & Clark Law School.
