Biography
2023: Competed in five events for the Lutes. Had a season best in the 5000m with a time of 15:44.47 at the 2023 Willamette T&F Invitational.
2020: Competed in one event for the Lutes. Ran a time of 34:21.69 in the 10,000m of the Ed Boitano Invitational
2019: Competed in eight meets for the Lutes. Clocked season-best times of 4:23.75 in the 1,500-meters, 16:35.71 in the 5,000-meters, and 34:23.56 in the 10,000-meters. Finished eighth in the 10K at the NWC Championships
High School: Competed in the sports of cross country, football, and track & field for the Cougars, earning six letters and serving as team captain for one season. Was a state qualifier in cross country as a senior and was named Most Inspirational.
Personal: Son of John Samson and Nancy Krier. Volunteers at several local races and at Capital High campus clean ups. Was president of the Cribbage Club.
