2024: Competed in eight meets for the Lutes. Finished fifth in the NWC Championships Javelin throw, with a 179’ 7” throw.
2023: Competed in nine meets for the Lutes. Had a season best throw of 185' 10" in the javelin to place sixth overall at the NWC Championships.
2022: Competed in nine meets for the Lutes. Won the NWC title in the javelin and placed seventh at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships to secure All-American honors. Threw a personal best 211' 3" in the javelin at the NCAA Championships while logging a personal best 15.22 in the 110-meter hurdles to win the event at the Westmont Collegiate Classic.
High School: Qualified for the state track meet in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles as a sophomore.
Personal: Is the son of Derrick and Josie Chaffin. Enjoys drawing, painting, driving, singing and dancing. Will also play football at PLU.
