Biography
2017: Competed in 12 meets for the Lutes. Threw 51' 2 3/4" in the shot put. In discus, he threw 134' 5". Had a cereer-best in the hammer throw with a 169' 7" throw. Earned The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Honors.
2016: Competed in eight meets for the Lutes. Collected season best throws of 51' 4 1/4" in the shot put, 140' 5" in the discus, and 160' 8" in the hammer throw.
2015: Competed in eight meets for the Lutes. Tallied season best efforts of 49' 5 3/4" in the shot put, 133' 7" in the discus, and 149' 1" in the hammer throw.
2014: Competed in eight meets for the Lutes. Tallied season best efforts of 50' 1 3/4" in the shot put, 137' 4" in the discus, and 145' 9" in the hammer throw. Placed second in the shot put at the Northwest Conference Championships.
High School: Two years as track and field team captain and two years as MVP at Eatonville HS...also two years at football team captain and two years as MVP...track team was undefeated in league his senior year and placed 5th in state...was named Highest Point-Earner in EHS History his senior year...his football team was 2 time league champs.
Personal: Son of Jim and Terry...born on April 28, 1995...brother to Cody, who also played football for PLU...is a Harstad Founders Scholar and Presidents Scholar...vice president of SAAC at PLU...volunteers at Lister Elementary, and is a PLU Reading Buddy at Whitman Elementary...hobbies include hiking and camping.
