Biography
2024: Competed in nine meets for the Lutes. Finished 3rd in the 3000m steeplechase and competed in the 5000m run at the NWC Championships event.
2023: Competed in nine meets for the Lutes. Finished eighth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 18th in the 5,000-meters at the NWC Championships. Clocked a personal best time of 9:33.76 in the steeplechase at the Portland Distance Carnival.
2022: Competed in 11 meets for the Lutes. Finished fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 14th at the 5,000-meters at the NWC Championships.
2021: Competed in seven meets for the Lutes. Finished sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NWC Championships.
2020: Competed in one meet for the Lutes. Ran the 3000-meters in a time of 9:20.63 at the Ed Boitano Invitational.
High School: Was a three sport athlete in high school running, cross country, track and field, and playing basketball as well. He was a two year captain and a two year MVP in his sports. He ran the 1600 and 3200 and was a power forward in basketball. His senior year he was 2nd at districts and a state qualifier in cross country.
Major: Kinesiology with the intent of becoming an exercise physiologist. Chose PLU because of the, “Great distance running program, great Kinesiology Program, and close to home”
Personal: Parents are Daina and Arnie. Has one sibling: Krisjanis.
Hobbies: Traveling, Backpacking, Cooking, Exploring Music and Movies
