High School: Played baseball, basketball, football, track & field, and wrestling for the Abes. finished sixth at the league championships in the shot put and helped the team win a state title. 

Personal: Parents are Malia Matai and Wangu Yeeming Sr. Has two siblings: Veronica and Wong. Hobbies include cooking and sports.
