2018: Appeared in all nine games for the Lutes. Made 4 field goals. Had a season high of 2 against Willamette. Tied his career long against Willamette with a 42 yard field goal.Â
2017: Appeared in six games for the Lutes. Made four field goals, including two against George Fox. Brost’s career long came in that same game, where he blasted a 42 yarder through the uprights. Brost earned Northwest Conference special teams player of the week on November 6.
2016:Â Appeared in one game for the Lutes.
High School: Was a three year letterwinner in football, was team captain for two years, and was named the team's Most Valuable Player twice. Second Team All-State kicker, All-BIIF Kicker, Holi Bergin MVP Award, Cover2 Hawaii Chad Owens Special Teams Player of the Year Nominee, www.scoringlive.com Top Performer of the Week, Life Champion Senior Bowl Participant his senior year. ALL-State Place Kicker honorable mention, All-BIIF 1st Team Kicker and Linebacker, Coaches MVP Award his junior year. Also competed in soccer and was a three year letter winner, two year team captain and was the team's defensive MVP once. All-State Tournament Team Junior and Senior years, helping the team capture the 2016 state championship.
Personal: Born on December 20, 1997 to parents Troy and Cheryl and is a brother to Malia. Troy played football at PLU from 1988-92, and mother Cheryl played soccer and basketball at PLU from 1988-92. Cheryl is a world renowned CrossFit athlete, consistently ranked as the fittest 45-49 year old female in the world and is a member of the PLU Hall of Fame. Chose PLU because "Both my parents attended PLU and it has always felt like a great fit for me."Â
