College:  Finished ninth in the 100 back(1:02.45), 14th in the 200 back (2:17.09), and led off in thesixthplace 400 medley relay.  

High School: APS Backstroke champion2006-2009...state qualifier in the 200 med relay, 200 free relay,400 free relay, and 100 backstroke.

Personal: Born Jan. 7, 1992...parents are Rogerand Rindy Avis...intended major in biology with a minor inGerman... chose to attend PLU because "I liked the campus, studentbody, size and opportunities."
