Caroline Matelski going the PLU golf program as an assistant in the fall of 2023 before being elevated to Co-Interim Head Coach during the spring of 2024.
Matelski brings considerable experience as a player, a golf pro, and as a coach. Matelski serves as a PGA Associate Professional at Meadow Park Golf Course. As a player, Matelski won the inaugural Washington State Women’s Amateur Championship and has played in prestigious tournaments that include the Optimist Junior World, Girls Junior PGA Championship, USGA Girls’ Junior Championship, and American Junior Golf Association events. Matelski played collegiately at the University of Washington.
Matelski’s coaching resume includes a stint as the Head Coach at Steilacoom High School where she earned Coach of the Year accolades in her second season at the helm.
