Pacific Lutheran University Athletics

High School: Played soccer, flag football, and lacrosse for the Bison while also competing in taekwondo. Was a letterwinner in both soccer and lacrosse. On the soccer field was named Most Inspirational Player and the Best Offensive Player Award. In lacrosse, won the H.E.R. (Honor, Excellence, Resilience) Award and was also named the Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award. 

Personal: Parents are Yunuen Patiño and Gabriel Velasco. Has two siblings: Ayari and Olivia. Hobbies include taekwondo and spending time with family. Was the senior class president and won multiple awards at Bethel, including Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, Air Force Science Award for outstanding Academic excellence, C.J Knaggs Award certificate of achievement, Bethel High School Special Award for Academic Achievement, and the President’s Education Award Program for outstanding Academic Excellence. Plans on becoming an FBI agent or a lawyer.

Major: Criminal Justice with a minor in Pre-Law
