Halle Hetzler joins the PLU coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2024 season.
A 2024 PLU graduate, Hetzler is one of the most decorated players in Lute history. Hetzler was a three-time Northwest Conference Libero of the Year (2021-2023) and became the first player in conference history to win LIbero of the Year and NWC Player of the Year in the same season in 2022. PLU's all-time digs leader with 2,631 over her five year career, Hetzler was the 2019 NWC Freshman of the Year and was a four-time All-Conference selection.
Hetzler guided the Lutes to the NWC regular season and tournament titles as a senior in 2023, with the squad tying a school record after winning 19 consecutive matches. She ended the 2023 campaign as an Honorable Mention AVCA All-American and was named Third Team CSC Academic All-American.Â
