Biography

2022: Appeared in all 10 games for the Lutes. Had a total of 41 tackles, three interceptions, and eight pass break-ups. Was named Second Team All-Conference.

2022 Spring: Appeared in all nine games for the Lutes. Collected two interceptions on the season. 

2021 Spring: Appeared in all four games for the Lutes this season. Registered four tackles and one pass breakup.

2019: Appeared in 6 games for the Lutes. Had 26 tackles on the season. Had a season high 9 tackles against Lewis & Clark. 

High School: At Roosevelt High School, he competed in football, earning two varsity letters while spending one year as team captain. Elwin earned his team's Most Valuable Player award once. As a senior, he earned first-team all-Hawaii, OIA first-team and an all-state honorable mention. As a junior, he was OIA second-team. Away from the football field, Elwin volunteers with Special Olympics.

Academic: At PLU, he plans on majoring in Kinesiology with hopes of becoming a physical therapist. Chose PLU because "I have family nearby and PLU seems like the perfect fit for me." 

Personal: Son of Chris and Carmaine Cotham.
