Aly Lacey joined Luteville as the Head Women's Basketball Coach in the spring of 2026.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Aly to Luteville! Throughout the search process, she demonstrated the passion and vision needed for advancing our women's basketball program to new heights,” said Snyder.

“She has a focus on building strong relationships and developing the person first, which is core to the PLU way. In addition to her approach to the position, her deeply rooted connections to the local basketball community are invaluable and will be an excellent asset for her and the PLU women’s basketball program.”

Lacey comes to Luteville from Auburn Mountainview High School where she served as the girls basketball coach for the last three seasons. That included guiding the Lions to a 16-7 overall record during the 2024-2025 campaign and placing runner-up in the 3A North Puget Sound League during the 2023-2024 season.

“What stood out to me throughout this process was the people. There’s a strong sense of community and purpose at Pacific Lutheran University, and I’m honored to be part of it,” said Lacey.

“My goal is to create a program that competes at a high level while developing young women who lead with confidence, toughness, and character.”

Prior to Mountainview, Lacey served as the Head Coach at Kentlake High School for two seasons. She additionally served as an assistant coach at Kennedy Catholic High School for three years.

Lacey graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in history and earned a master’s degree in secondary education from Grand Canyon University.
