Ann Swanson joined the PLU coaching staff prior to the 2024-2025 season.
Swanson comes to Luteville with considerable experience with collegiate golf, having served as an assistant coach at both the University of Washington and Seattle University while also spending 10 years as the head men's coach at Grays Harbor College.
As a golfer, Swanson made three appearances in the USGA Women's Open and British Open, and combined for 36 victories in state and Seattle city tournaments. Swanson won five PNGA titles, two national events and was in finalist in several national tournaments.Â
Swanson is a volunteer serving on the Board of Directors of the Ladies National Golf Association, PNGA, and was the WSWGA President, on the NWAC Golf Commission and Chairperson of the Women's Trans National Golf Championship. A member of five hall of fames, including the Pacific Northwest Golf Hall of Fame, Swanson had written three books about the sport of golf.Â
