Cade Hamel joins the PLU coaching staff as an assistant prior to the 2026 season.

A 2025 Lute graduate, Hamel played four seasons for the Lutes. A versatile player, Hamel played in 46 games for the Lutes as a position player while also making 19 appearances on the mound, including two starts.Â
