Chloe Froeschner ’26 joined the PLU Athletics Department as the Assistant Director of Sports Communication in September of 2026.
Froeschner worked in the PLU athletic communications office the previous four years as a student worker, earning the PLU Athletic Department's first-ever Student Worker of the Month Award last fall. During her four years with the Lutes, Froeschner was instrumental in creating and editing social media graphics, producing short form video content, writing feature stories on student-athletes, and providing support on gamedays and during team media days. She provided onsite coverage for the PLU baseball team's historic upset of the University of Washington in March 2025, producing a video about the victory that went viral on social media.
Froeschner was a writer for the student newspaper— The Mast, was a PLU Student Activities & Resources Fee (SARF) Committee Member, and as a first-year was a member of the Lute women's rowing squad.
An Iowa native, Froeschner graduated with a double major in graphic design and film & media studies.
