Karissa Jackson joined the Pacific Lutheran track & field coaching staff prior to the 2016 season as an assistant coach specializing in hurdles while also helping with sprints.

Jackson has three years of experience coaching middle and high school track & field programs in the Tacoma area. Her area of expertise is in the hurdles, working with both beginners and experienced hurdlers to advance their skills and technique. She is entering her last year in the PLU School of Nursing, and she is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2016.
