Pacific Lutheran University Athletics

Marc Callero came to Pacific Lutheran University in 2011, wherehe is involved in all aspects of the men's basketball program.

Before coming to PLU, Marc was the head basketball coach atSouth Puget Sound Community College for four years. While at SouthPuget Sound, his team set the school record for consecutive winsand also participated in the NWAACC tournament. Marc also coachedat Foster High School where his team made the state tournament.

Callero earned his master's degree in education at LakeErie College where he was a graduate assistant coach for the NCAADivision III program. He earned a degree in school health educationat Central Washington University where he played basketball and wasco-captain of a national tournament team.

He currently teaches in the Tacoma School Districtand resides in Olympia with his wife, Yolanda, and two sons,Santana and Apollo.
