Pacific Lutheran University Athletics

Peter Lechak joined the Pacific Lutheran men's soccer coachingstaff prior to the 2010 season and has worked primarily with thegoalkeepers at PLU. Under Lechak's supervision, Lute goalkeepershad a 1.27 goals against average with six shutouts in 2010,including four shutouts and a 0.88 goals against average forreturning sophomore keeper Joe Rayburn.

A Connecticut native, Lechak played intercollegiate soccer atthe University of Connecticut before transferring to the Universityof South Florida, both NCAA Division I schools. Lechak, who earneda degree in business economics in 2005 from the University of SouthFlorida, went on to play semi-professional soccer for the SeattleWolves FC.

Lechak holds a USSF A Coaching License and a NSCAA Level3 Goalkeeping Diploma. He is the Washington State EPDGirls Goalkeeper Director, a Washington State EPD Head Coach,and the Highline Premier FC Director of Goalkeeping.
