Ryan Sheehy joins the PLU men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2026-2027 season.
Sheehy joins the Lutes with coaching experience at both the high school and college levels. He spent the previous two seasons as the head coach at East High School in Madison, Wisconsin while also spending one year as the head coach at Pleasant Grove High School in California.Â
Sheehy’s collegiate experience includes coaching at Kilgore College in Texas, guiding the Rangers to a regular season conference championship, NJCAA Elite 8 appearance and #2 national ranking with a 23-2 overall record. He also coached three seasons in California at De Anza College.Â
Sheehy graduated with a degree in physical and health education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and holds a master’s degree in coaching and athletic leadership from the University of Missouri.Â
