Thomas Schlenker

Thomas Schlenker, a former rower at the University of Washingtonfrom 2002-06, was named women's rowing head coach at PacificLutheran University in August of 2011.

Schlenker came to PLU from the University of MassachusettsLowell, where he was the assistant women's rowing coach anddirector of recruiting and operations for one year. Prior to that,he had a combined five years of club coaching experience in thegreater Seattle area.

In addition to coaching at Massachusetts Lowell, Schlenkerserved as regatta advisor for the 2011 Massachusetts StateChampionship regatta and the 2011 USRowing Northeast Youth DistrictChampionships. He has completed the USRowing Advanced CoachesTraining program for elite and collegiate coaches.
