Lance Glasoe

Puyallup native Lance Glasoe took the reins of the PacificLutheran softball program in August 2014. Glasoe had previouslyserved as pitching coach for the University of Washington softballteam for six years, where he coached a pair of All-Americanpitchers in Danielle Lawrie and Kaitlin Inglesby and was anassistant coach on the 2009 NCAA Div. I National Championship Huskyteam. The UW coaching staff earned National Coaching Staff of theYear honors that season, and during Glasoe's time at UW the Huskiesadvanced to the Women's College World Series three times.

Prior to his time at University of Washington, Glasoe served asPLU's pitching coach under former Lute head coach Rick Noren from2006-08. Glasoe previously had softball head coaching stints atSumner and Bonney Lake High Schools. While at Sumner, he led theSpartans to three consecutive state finals appearances and won twoleague championships. He has also worked as softball camp directorfor Grand Slam Camps for the past seven years and has been aprivate instructor at Competitive Edge in Puyallup since 2004. Heearned his Bachelor of Arts in Technology Education from WesternWashington University in 1995.

Glasoe and his wife, Kara, live in Puyallup with their twodaughters, Maddy and Macie.
