The Northwest Conference office released its weekly award winners on Monday with Pacific Lutheran University goalkeeper RJ Noll earning Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

The senior from Yelm, Washington tallies the accolade after picking up a pair of road shutouts to extend the Lutes' win streak to five games. Noll, who ranks second in the NWC in saves, turned away two shots as the short-handed Lutes downed Pacific University 1-0 on Saturday and made two more stops in a 3-0 whitewash of George Fox University on Sunday.

Noll becomes the third Lute and second goalkeeper to win NWC Athlete of the Week honors this season. Fellow keeper Cole Weaverwas the NWC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 4 while Joe Sammartino collected NWC Offensive Player of the Week accolades on the same day.
