Emma Hunter was named the Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 30. 
 
Hunter lands Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring a defensive unit that collected a pair of clean sheets, allowing just four shots all weekend, including just two on goal. The Portland, Oregon native has helped the Lutes (6-1-1, 4-0 NWC) log six shutouts through the opening eight games of the season, allowing just two goals all year.
