"This is certainly the toughest road trip for us logistically in the Northwest Conference and for us to come away with two wins, two shutouts, four goals and six points is an awesome outcome this weekend," said Head Coach
Seth Spidahl. "We are taking it one game at a time the second half of NWC play. This is a great way to get started and we are excited to be back at home for the next couple of weeks."
The Lutes finished the match leading in shots 13-4 controlling the ball majority of the game. PLU had a great defensive game led by
Rachel Ross and Bri Hunting only allowing one shot on goal with the save from
Natalie Robinson.
"This teams legacy is still being defined, but they worked incredibly hard last week in training. Their energy level and excitement to keep playing with and for each other seems at an all time high. Those will be powerful things as we come down the home stretch."
The Lutes return home next weekend for a two-game stance against George Fox and Linfield.
