MCMINNVILLE, Ore. - The Pacific Lutheran University volleyball team extended its win streak to three on Saturday night, rolling Northwest Conference nemesis Linfield College 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-18) inside Ted Wilson Gymnasium.
The host Wildcats (4-12, 0-4 NWC) rushed out to an early 4-1 lead but it was all Lutes (10-6, 3-1 NWC) after that, scoring 24 of the next 34 points to breeze to the 25-14 win in the opening set. PLU scored the final five points of the set, including a set winning service ace.
The Lutes took the second set by a 25-19 scoreline, overcoming an early deficit and receiving a set clinching kill from

Danielle Skibiel finished with 12 kills and five blocks while
Baylee Johnson netted seven kills with a .438 hitting percentage.
Emily Dulaney notched 28 assists while
Halle Hetzler collected 14 digs and four aces.
"It was a great match tonight," said Head Coach
Kevin Aoki. "It's good to see first-years Hailey and Baylee perform well in the front row, as well as
Madeline Dawson and Halle in the backrow. As a team we keep improving and playing more steady as the season progresses."
The Lutes return to the court on Friday, returning to Oregon to face Lewis & Clark College in Portland.
