PORTLAND, Ore. - Carson Braddock and
Seth Koivisto each won a pair of events as the Pacific Lutheran University men's swimming team tied Northwest Conference rival Lewis & Clark College 91-91 in Saturday's dual meet at the Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion.
"The men's meet was as close as any event could be and we swam tough. I think it's the first tie I've ever experienced as a coach," said Head Coach
Matt Sellman.
"We went in short-handed and swam to win and just came up a bit short. The guys really impressed me all day with their fight and they never backed down."
Braddock,
Devin Stanley,
Christiaan Chandler, and
Charlie Cutter won the 200-yard medley relay to open the dual, clocking a time of one minute, 43.14 seconds, and enjoying a six-second advantage on runner-up Lewis & Clark.
