TACOMA, Wash. — The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recognized the Pacific Lutheran University men's and women's swimming programs for success in the classroom with both teams securing the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Award for the spring 2026 semester.

The Lute women secure the honored with a 3.41 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) while the men log the award with a 3.40 GPA. The Lutes are among six teams from the Northwest Conference to be recognized, joining league rivals George Fox University, University of Puget Sound, Whitman College, Whitworth University, and Willamette University.

All told, 714 teams representing 418 institutions won the honor this spring, collectively representing 16,680 collegiate student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions, the NAIA, and the NJCAA.

The Lutes' success this spring extended beyond the classroom. The women finished the year with a third place showing at the NWC Championships in Boise, Idaho while the men placed fifth. It was the best showing for both programs since the 2021-2022 season. The two squads combined to have 11 student-athletes earn All-Conference honors (eight women and three men) while eight student-athletes earned Academic All-District accolades from College Sports Communicators (CSC).
