HILLSBORO, Ore. — The Northwest Conference announced its All-Conference award winners for the sport of men's swimming on Monday with a trio of Pacific Lutheran University student-athletes earning recognition.
Tyler Tanaka led the way, securing Second Team All-Conference in three events while
Vyron Domingo was Second Team All-Conference in two events and
Christian Georgi was Second Team All-Conference in one.
Tyler Tanaka caps off his decorated Lute career as a 10-time All-Conference selection after securing Second Team honors this year in the 200-yard individual medley, 100-yard breaststroke, and 200-yard breaststroke. The Anahola, Hawaii native placed sixth in the 200 IM with a time of one minute, 57.37 seconds while finishing sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (57.04) and fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:05.83). Tanaka's All-League nod in the 200-yard breaststroke was the fourth of his career. The senior's 10 All-Conference honors have come across five different events, including winning First Team accolades twice in the 200-yard breaststroke (2025 and 2023).
Vyron Domingo makes his NWC debut by earning All-Conference in both the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard backstroke. The Mill Creek, Washington native placed fourth in the 100 back in 52.13 and was sixth in the 200 back in 1:55.79.
Christian Georgi secures All-League status for the second consecutive season, winning Second Team laurels in the 200-yard breaststroke. The San Antonio, Texas native placed eighth overall in 2:09.58 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Last season, Georgi tallied Second Team All-League in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes.
Tanaka, Domingo, and Georgi helped the Lutes place fifth in the team standings at the 2026 NWC Championships in Boise, Idaho, the team's best finish since 2022.
