TACOMA, Wash. - The Pacific Lutheran University men's swimming team capped off its abbreviated season over the weekend against arch-nemesis University of Puget Sound, splitting a pair of dual meets.
In Friday's session,
Seth Koivisto stole the show, winning the 100-yard individual medley in 52.91 seconds before shattering the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a time of 56.54.Â

Nicolas Celebrado won the 400-yard individual medley in 4:49.07 while Carson Braddock snagged the win in the 100-yard freestyle in 48.52.
Jared Toschi won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:12.14 with Michael Smith taking the 50-yard backstroke in 30.86.Â

Ethan Trieu placed runner-up in both the 50-yard freestyle (22.20) and the 100-yard IM (59.54) while
Devin Stanley logged second billing in both the 100-yard backstroke (58.05) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.16).

Braddock was runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.53) while the Lutes' 200-yard medley relay (1:36.57) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:19.84) both tallied runner-up finishes.
On Saturday,
Ethan Trieu,
Seth Koivisto, Charlie Cutter, and Carson Braddock combined to win the 200-yard freestyle relay, clocking a time of 1:28.42, edging the Loggers by a split second.
Jared Toschi won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.37 and the 50-yard backstroke in 29.19 while Michael Smith earned wins in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.08) and the 50-yard breaststroke (30.12).
Koivisto took second billing in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:06.61) as did Trieu in the 50-yard freestyle (22.03).
Devin Stanley was second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.55) as was Braddock in the 100-yard freestyle (48.89),
Nicolas Celebrado in the 200-yard individual medley (2:14.12) and the 400-yard medley relay team (3:34.86).
