Women's swimming wins 27th straight dual meet

RESULTS

SPOKANE, Wash. – Malia Wisham and Annika Eisele each won three events Friday, helping lead the Pacific Lutheran women's swim team to its 27th consecutive dual meet victory at Whitworth in Northwest Conference action.

Wisham earned wins in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.37), the 500 free (5:17.55) and was on the winning 200 free relay (1:45.45). Eisele won the 100 butterfly (1:00.06), and was on the winning 200 medley relay (1:53.98) and the 200 free relay.

The other winning swimmers on the 200 medley were Makenzie Chan-Orcutt, Sidney Chan-Orcutt and Jersey Razzano, while Eisele was joined by Rozzano, Wisham and Sidney Chan-Orcutt on the 200 free relay.

Claire Crunch won two races, grabbing titles in the 1,650 freestyle (20:21.34) and the 400 individual medley (4:56.73).

The Lutes (1-0, 1-0) are back in action at 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitman College in Walla Walla.
