Meggie Burnett won both of her matches on Saturday, but the Lutes' home opener was spoiled by the College of Idaho as the Coyotes earned a 6-3 victory.
"This team continues to demonstrate their resiliency on the court," said PLU Head Coach
Cheri Campbell. "We've been focusing on our mental toughness and the players are showing they have been buying into the process."

Tianna Jeffries scored an 8-4 win at the No. 3 doubles position. She continued that momentum into singles action, scoring a 7-6, 6-4 victory at the No. 4 spot. Burris cruised at the No.5 position, winning 6-1, 6-4 to earn the Lutes final point.
PLU (1-4) remains at home next Saturday when they host Highline Community College at 2:00 p.m.
