Meggie Burnett improved her singles and doubles marks to 4-2 on the season, but the Pacific Lutheran University women tennis team was defeated by Highline Community College, 6-3.

Tianna Jeffries improved to 3-1 as a pair and won their second straight match as they won 8-1 at the No. 3 spot in the lineup.
In singles action, Burnett won for the fourth time in the last five tries as she scored a 6-4, 6-2 victory at the No. 4 position.
Taylor Stokes lost a heartbreaking three-set affair, 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (6).
Katelyn Gonzalez earned the team's final point as her opponent retired in the first set.
The Lutes will play a neutral site match on Monday when they take on California Lutheran University at University of Puget Sound at 9:00 a.m.
