FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The Pacific Lutheran University men't tennis squad was defeated by Pacific University, 9-0, in the penultimate match of the season for the Lutes.
Michael Campbell and
Hampus Pers Eliasson won four games at the No. 1 doubles position before being defeated by the top Pacific tandem. Campbell continued to battle in the singles portion of the contest, but ultimately fell 6-2, 7-5.
Derek Stone won three games at No. 3 singles, while Pers Eliasson,
Alex Richter and
Samuel Kwon all won a pair of games.
The Lutes will return home for Senior Day next Saturday against George Fox University. Stone, Richter and Campbell will be competing in their final home matches as Lutes. First serve is scheduled at 2:00 p.m.
