MCMINNVILLE, Ore. - The Pacific Lutheran University women's tennis team was unable to keep pace with Northwest Conference rival Linfield University on Friday, falling 9-0 at the Linfield Tennis Center.
"I'm super proud of how the Lutes showed up today. The scores don't indicate the multiple deuces and long games we had today," said Head Coach

In doubles play,
Ella Burriss and
Taylor Stokes fell 8-1 at the No. 1 spot while
Tianna Jeffries and
Lilian Nguyen suffered a setback by an identical scoreline at No. 3.
In singles action,
Taylor Stokes dropped her match at No. 1 while Nguyen battled at No. 5 in a, 6-2, 6-1, setback.
"We're looking to close out the season with a strong showing against a solid George Fox team tomorrow."
The Lutes (3-12, 1-6 NWC) finish off the season tomorrow at 10 a.m. with a dual match against George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.
