NEWBERG, Ore. - Kristine Nguyen won the pole vault with a personal best clearance on Thursday, pacing the Pacific Lutheran University men's and women's track & field teams at the George Fox University Final Qualifier.
 
Nguyen won the vault after clearing 12 feet 2 ½ inches, setting a PR by 2 ½ inches. Teammate Lily Luksich was fourth, vaulting 11' 2 ½".
 
Grady Lemma was runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles, circling the oval in 56.71 seconds while Hezekiah Goodwin was third in the 800-meters, finishing in 1:55.06.
 
Thursday's meet was the final meet for the Lutes before the field for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships is unveiled.
