Lute Recruit Page

TACOMA, Wash. — The Pacific Lutheran University women's basketball program and new head coach Lee Aduddell announced its incoming recruiting class for the 2022-2023 season on Thursday, welcoming seven new Lutes to the program.

"We're so excited about the seven young women joining our program. They each come from an incredible family and will help us start to build the foundation of our program. We cannot wait to get this season started," said Head Coach Lee Aduddell who joined the Lutes this spring after being an assistant at Division I Colgate University.

This year's recruiting class features seven players from three different states, including five from Washington and one each from Oregon and Hawaii. Three of the seven incoming Lutes have family ties to the University. Syndey Reisner and Sydney Riedel have older brothers on the 2022 Northwest Conference Champion men's basketball team while Jo Flynn has an older brother on the Lutes' baseball squad.

Kaylie Bracy (5-10 Guard/Forward)
Lake Stevens, Wash. — Lake Stevens HS

"KK is a gritty wing with a knack for getting to the free throw line. Her ability to get downhill will be an asset to our team and effective in our league."

Faye Davis (6-0 Forward)
Redmond, Ore. — Ridgeview HS

"Faye is a versatile forward who plays with a combination of strength and skill. Her ability to play in the paint and from range will fit in well with our style of play."

Jo Flynn (5-6 Guard)
Lacey, Wash. — River Ridge HS

"Jo's ability to play all 3 guard positions makes her a tremendous asset to our team. Her toughness and passion are a perfect fit for our culture."

Sarah Midimo (6-2 Forward/Center)
Tacoma, Wash. — Cascade Christian HS

"In a game that has moved away from the post, Sarah brings the game of an old school center. In addition, she'll be a great anchor for our defense with her presence."

Sydney Reisner (5-7 Guard)
Burlington, Wash. — Burlington-Edison HS

"Sydney is a multi-sport athlete who will bring a 3 point presence to our team. In addition to her scoring ability she is an excellent rebounder."

Sydney Riedel (5-9 Forward)
Olympia, Wash. — Capital HS

"Sydney is a defensive specialist with elite athleticism. She affects the game on and off the ball and runs the floor in a way that challenges defenses."

Emi Wada (5-5 Guard)
Aiea, Hawaii — Hawaii Baptist Academy

"Emi is a tough nosed guard who cannot only score, but is a talented rebounder at her position. She has the ability to impact the game in every aspect."

Pacific Lutheran opens the 2022-2023 season on Saturday, November 5, making the short trip north to face Division II Seattle Pacific University.
