Men’s Soccer 4th in NCAA Regional Rankings

Official NCAA Regional Rankings

TACOMA, Wash. — The NCAA released its regional rankings for the sport of men's soccer this week with two-time defending Northwest Conference Champion Pacific Lutheran University sitting fourth in Region X.

The Lutes (10-3-3) are one of two NWC teams to crack the regional poll, joining in-state rival Whitman College (11-0-4) as the Blues rank third. Texas based University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (12-1-3) owns the top spot followed by Colorado College (10-0-6). California's Whittier College (8-2-4) is fifth with Concordia University of Texas (9-3-4) and Texas Lutheran University (10-4-2) rounding out the poll.

The Lutes are red-hot, owning a four-game win streak and a 13-game unbeaten run. PLU would put those streaks on the line this weekend, facing Linfield University on Saturday and Pacific University on Sunday. Kickoff for both games is set for 1:45 p.m.
