Dom Perasso was a scoring machine over the weekend in California and on Monday was recognized for his efforts, securing Northwest Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

The Stockton, California native put on a show in his home state, dropping a then career-high 17 points and shooting 72.7 percent from the floor in a near upset of sixth-ranked University of Redlands on Saturday. The senior was even better on Sunday, upping his career best tally to 21 points, shooting eight-for-10 from the floor against host University of California Santa Cruz.

Perasso finished the weekend averaging 19.0 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game, shooting a blazing hoy 76.2 percent from the floor and going a perfect five-for-five from the floor.Â
The Lutes (0-2) are back in action on Friday, welcoming Pomona-Pitzer Colleges to Tacoma.Â
