TACOMA, Wash. --- The Pacific Lutheran University Women's Swimming team completed the regular season on Saturday, coming up short against the Loggers of Puget Sound, 163-56 in the Loggers pool.

The relay team of
Anna Haneda,
Julissa Pernsteiner,
Riley Maher, and
Matthea Gaines began the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:57.45.

Lola Chargualaf gave the Lutes their first victory of the meet in event six, taking the 100-yard backstroke by nearly one second over the Loggers best finisher.
Riley Maher added another Lutes win in the 200-yard Butterfly, as she came from behind thanks to a 35.69 final lap to win by over one-second.

Karina Yevstifeieva led the Lutes in the quick 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.94, earning herself a second-place finish. She followed it up with another second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle just two races later.

The team closed out the meet with the 200-yard freestyle relay, as Maher, Pernsteiner, Haneda, and Yevstifieieva swam a time of 1:43.38 to take second in the race.

The Lutes now prepare for the final NWC meet of the season, the Northwest Conference Championships, in two weeks inside the King County Aquatic Center.
