Complete CSC Academic All-District Team
TACOMA, Wash. — The Pacific Lutheran University women's basketball team had four student-athletes earn recognition for excellence on the court and in the classroom, securing College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors on Tuesday.

Taylor Schmidtke, and
Stacie Spahr were the four to earn CSC Academic All-Region status.Â

A senior computer science major from Lahaina, Hawaii,
Ashley Akamine earns CSC Academic All-District for the second consecutive year. Akamine played in 23 games this winter, averaging 6.3 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game. That includes scoring a season-high 14 against George Fox University on Feb. 7 and again on Feb. 22 in the season finale against Lewis & Clark College.

A junior mathematics major from Burlington, Washington,
Sydney Reisner lands CSC Academic All-District accolades for the second straight season. An Honorable Mention All-Conference selection this winter, Reisner led the Lutes in scoring, averaging 11.6 points per game across the 21 games she played in. The junior was finished in double figures in 14 games over the 2024-2025 campaign, including a season-high 25 points against Northwest University on Dec. 18.
A senior mathematics major from Toledo, Washington,
Stacie Spahr earns CSC Academic All-District for the first time. Spahr was the only Lute to start all 25 games this season, hauling in a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game while adding 3.1 points per game on the offensive end. Spahr's senior campaign including hauling in 18 rebounds in PLU's victory over Evergreen State College on. Nov. 17.Â

A senior mathematics major from Buckley, Washington,
Taylor Schmidtke earns CSC Academic All-District for the second year in a row. Schmitdke played in 24 games this winter, averaging 6.7 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game. The senior had nine games in double figures, pouring on a season-high 15 in a 83-55 blowout over Willamette University on Feb. 15.

PLU wrapped up the 2024-2025 season with an 8-17 overall record and a 5-11 mark in Northwest Conference play.Â
