Official CSC Release

TACOMA, Wash. — College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District Team for the sport of baseball on Tuesday with Pacific Lutheran University's Lukas Delisle, Ethan Keintz, and Matthew Sherwood earning recognition for their outstanding efforts on the diamond and in the classroom. 

Senior catcher Lukas Delisle earns CSC Academic All-District for the second consecutive season. The business administration major played in 36 games this spring, starting 35 of those. Delisle had 11 RBIs on the year, threw out 16 runners on the basepaths, and was second on the squad with 202 putouts. 

Senior outfielder Ethan Keintz lands CSC Academic All-District for the first time in his career, The biology major started in 37 games this spring, rocking a .311 batting average with 28 RBIs and 11 extra base hits. Keintz tied for the team lead in runs scored with 28 while stealing 15 bases. 

Sophomore pitcher Matthew Sherwood secures CSC Academic All-District in his first year of eligibility. The criminal justice major made 13 appearances and 11 starts on the mound, registering a team-best 46 strikeouts in 55 innings of action.

Delisle, Keintz, and Sherwood are among the 24 student-athletes from the Northwest Conference to be recognized, representing seven of the league's nine institutions. 
 
The Lutes wrapped up the 2025 campaign with a 17-22 overall record and a 9-15 mark in Northwest Conference play. PLU's season included Head Coach Nolan Soete winning his 100th career game while the squad earned victories against teams from all three NCAA divisions, headlined by a 3-1 upset of the University of Washington on March 18.
