HILLSBORO, Ore. — Pacific Lutheran University football student-athlete
Connor Meade took the opening kickoff to the house for the second time in his career and on Monday was named the Northwest Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Tacoma, Washington native rumbled 90-yards down the sideline, taking the opening kickoff back for a touchdown and setting the tone in PLU's lopsided 42-16 victory over Simpson University on Saturday in the home opener at Sparks Stadium.
