TACOMA, WASH.— The Pacific Lutheran University men's swimming team opened up the new year with a strong 98-23 team win over Northwest Conference rivals of Pacific University Boxers on Friday evening.
The Lutes returned to action at home for the first time in over a month and the first time in 2026.
PLU had strong showings to start the night with PLU A&B 400 yard Medley relays posting times of 3:55.46 and 4:04.04. Lutes would then go on a run winning the next four individual events.
Aidan Koshinsky won the 200 yard freestyle with a 1:57.58 to start things off.
Christian Georgi followed the momentum with a 24.01 and first place finish in the 50 yard freestyle.
Elijah Vickery won the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 51.93.
Sebastian Arellano added on winning the 200 yard backstroke.
Lutes will be back in action at Whitworth University on January 23rd at 6 PM.
