TACOMA, Wash. — A trio of Lutes scored on Wednesday but it wasn't enough to match the offensive firepower of Kalamazoo College as the Pacific Lutheran University women's lacrosse team fell 21-3 in the non-conference finale at East Field.
The visiting Hornets (3-6) opened the scoring with three goals in the opening three minutes and took a 6-0 advantage before
Paige Hackman scored unassisted with 3:38 left in the first quarter.
Peyton Terhar scored with 11:43 left in the second off a feed from
Katrina Moran while Moran scored on her own with 2:31 left before halftime.
Hackman led the Lutes with five ground balls with
Taylee Alldredge scooping up four while securing five draw controls.
Kassie Diller played all 60 minutes in goal, making nine saves.
The Lutes (2-6) open Northwest Conference play on April 3, hitting the road to face Linfield University.
