2023-24 Women's Swimming Roster
Biography
2023-2024: Finished 8th in the 100-yard breaststroke, 7th in the 200-yard breaststroke, and 9th in the 200-yard individual medley at the NWC Championships.
2023: Competed in the NWC Championships in the 50y free, 100y breast, 200y breast, and 200y IM. Had her best finish in the 200y breast, placing 3rd with a personal best time of 2:26.90 and earning First Team All-Conference honors. Also placed 4th in the 200y IM (2:14.52) earning Second-Team All-NWC.
2022: Competed in the NWC championships in the 50 breast (32.18), 100 breast (1:08.28 7th place), 200 breast (2:28.80 6th place), and 200 IM (2:15.82). Earned two second team all conference honors for the finishes in the 100 and 200 breast.
2021: Placed second in one race for the Lutes, while placing third in six other races. Had a career fast time of 26.02 in the 50 yard freestyle and 32.59 in the 50 yard breaststroke.
2019-2020: Competed in NWC Conference Championships in the 50 free, 100 breast, and 200 breast. Finished 16th in the 100 breast (1:11.24) and 14th in the 200 breast (2:34.52).
High School: In High School, Mackenzie was a four year varsity swimmer, being a team captain her senior year and swimming in the 100 breast, fly, free, 200 free and 50 free. She placed 5th in the 100 breast and 200 free and qualified for state in the 100 breast and 4 free relay. Her team placed 4th in the 6A State Championships and 5th in the Three RIvers League Conference.
Major: Mackenzie is going to major in Biology along with receiving a minor in Spanish. She is intending on becoming a Pathologist after college, and she chose PLU for the great community and challenging academics
Personal: Mackenzie has one sibling, Sidney who is eighteen, along with her two parents Don and Chan
Hobbies: Reading and Hiking
