Jessica Squires joins the PLU women's basketball program as an assistant prior to the 2020-2021 season.
Squires joins the Lutes with considerable coaching experience, most recently serving as the head coach at Orting High School (2011-2019). Squires served as head coach at Rainier Christian High School (2008-09) and was a varsity assistant and head JV coach at Enumclaw High School from 2004 to 2008. Squires served as the head coach at Enumclaw Middle School from 2000 to 2004.
Squires additionally serves as the chaplain for the National Women's Soccer League's OL Reign.
A three-sport athlete at Puyallup High School, Squires spent one season at Carroll College in Helena, Montana before finishing her college basketball career at Corban College in Salem, Oregon. Squires earned a degree in secondary education/language arts, social studies from Corban in 2000 before receiving a masters degree in teaching from Grand Canyon University in 2007.
